During the pandemic in our country, one of the various measures taken for public health was to stop teaching in person. Emergency applications for distance education have been launched by educational establishments all over the world to make up for the time lost to education as a result of the pandemic. It is common knowledge that lifelong learning can benefit from distance education, and emergency distance education is a necessity in times of crisis.
Because of the pandemic, education has been moved to digital platforms. As a result, the idea of digital literacy has become a significant topic of discussion. Specifically, the research aims to demonstrate the significance of digital literacy in the process of distance education as well as the necessity of digital literacy levels among teachers and students, who are significant stakeholders in education.
