March 25th, is universally commemorated as the annual day celebration of the “Day of The Unborn Child,” to fondly remember the Unborn, aborted foetuses .This 2022 year’s theme regarding International Unborn Child Day is – laws of abortion. The exact significance of the date can be more readily understood if we highlight the fact that it comes sharply nine months before the day commemorating the most celebrated birthday in Western civilization history also known throughout the world, as the December 25th feast of Christmas. Regardless of whether one may emphasise the secular, traditional, cultural or religious aspects of the March 25th memorials, the symbolical interval of a full-term Pregnancy reminds us of the conceptual reality, importance, and dignity of human life from day one at the vey moment of conception.
Kerala academy of Pharmacy (KAP) marks today, March 25th ,as the day of an awareness in a pharmaceutical sense as to prevent unwanted births and commemorate abortion victims who are direly mistaken for planned abortions as it’s often may not be the case. Pharmaceutical companies, who also manufacture contraceptive pills and items that can be used as a precaution to withheld pregnancy. In terms of readily available contraceptive products, the whole drama of unborn child and the concept of abortion can be prevented as women can feel relaxed and relieved of the pressure. Women shaming can be prevented and women take a backseat and relax!
Today, women need not go through all the unwanted attention, an unplanned pregnancy can bring. Due to this, the concept of contraceptives was introduced and this brings multi billion dollar revenue to the pharmaceutical industries worldwide. The remembrance of pill and strain faced by women and unborn child brings sorrow to the heart but builds hope for the planned future, as well. Today along with the international institutions and other glorious educational institutions and non-profit organization worldwide, KAP take this minute to remember the sacrifice of women who faced the issues of unborn child and is fondly remembered by our staffs and students in uniform, who stand and support the cause of women power and the women rights, where women are granted supreme command in choosing the wishes accordingly for their own welfare.
