World tuberculosis day is annually observed on the 24 of March. This TB day is a day dedicated to spread awareness on one of world’s most infection causing disease that is so contagious in nature. In 2020, almost in a decade, TB cases increased on a global scale. The theme For this year TB day is, ‘Invest to End TB. Save lives’, henceforth conveying the urgent need to invest resource to ramp up for the fight against the deadly TB disease and achieve the necessary commitments and investment to end TB with the help of all international and global leaders .
KAP proudly stands with the International Non Profit Organizations and International Institutions that are showing a stance against the TB disease. We raise awareness campaign in our classrooms and website to make aware of the students about the hazards that is not mentioned often. We initiate guidance by offering good advice to the general public in the society in form of an article that can be read on our website. Kerala academy of pharmacy shows it’s care and understanding to all their staff and students in uniform by making them be safe and wear masks in our lovely campus as it’s a norm so let it be followed for time immemorial, as it’s a good habit to be protected always from any sort of harmful infections. Million of pharmaceutical staffs are in risk of infections and diseases of contagious nature and that hinders performance. Making sure of performing our duty of raising awareness today on TB day, we at KAP have shown that such hazardous disease can also be prevented by proper care. KAP wishes you a safe year on TB day.
