World hearing day is an annual awareness day for ensuring hearing through safe listening so noise cannot harm our ears and destroy the sense of hearing, henceforth it is our solemn duty as a citizen or an institution, to create an awareness protocol for the welfare of good hearing throughout the full course of life and to prevent hearing impairment .
WHO initiates a theme every year on March 3 regarding world hearing day, which is celebrated by all international nations and it’s partner Institutions. The WHO’S Objective behind world hearing day theme of 2022 is to, “To hear for life, listen with care”. Our institution, the Kerala academy of pharmacy has also joined the International initiative and promised a resolution to create an awareness regarding careful listening and to protect ourselves from hideous noise pollution and hearing loss .
Although, our Indian government has initiated nationwide norms regarding noise pollution and loudness nuisance, it is rarely followed by us, the general public but it must nevertheless be like that forever so henceforth we must strive our best to keep away noise that harm our hearing power as our ears are capable of receiving only adequately, measured in regards to decibels .

We have also reduced using all speakers and mics for our campus functions and actively appointment volunteers to make students stay away from loud speakers as awareness must be not only initiated , it must be religiously followed.
