International day of zero Tolerance for female genital mutilation

As part of the UN's efforts to end female genital mutilation, the organization sponsors the International Day of Zero
Tolerance for Remate Genital Mutilation every year on February 6. It was initially shown in 2003. A violation of a girl's
or woman's human rights, female genital mutilation (FOM refers to all practices that entail changing or harming the
female genitalia for non-medical purposes. It is a severe kind of discrimination against women and girls and reflects
ingrained gender inequality. They are also denied their rights to life when the process results in death, as well as their
rights to safety, physical integrity, and freedom from torture and other cruel, inhumane, or humiliating treatment.
Kerala Academy of Pharmacy aims coordinated efforts that incorporate entire communities
and are focused on gender equality and human rights are required. Strong focus on societal discussion and offering communities
the ability to work together to end the practice should be placed by these programs. They must also take care of the reproductive
