World Cancer Day -February 4

On February 4, the world observes World Cancer Day, a day set aside to promote cancer awareness and the prevention, identification, and treatment of the disease. In order to improve access to high-quality care, screening, early detection, treatment, and palliative care, World Cancer Day aims to raise awareness of cancer as a public health concern. The "close the care gap" campaign, whose second year's theme is "close the care gap," aims to raise awareness of the disparities in cancer care and encourage action to advance their redress. The Kerala Academy of Pharmacy promotes cancer awareness and early detection since prevention is preferable to treatment
